Manager, Membership Mobilization (Renewable Energy Advocacy): Leads the launch of a new membership program by spearheading planning and execution of communications strategy for regular engagement of audiences through action opportunities, wins, successes, and interventions. Focus on developing innovative online and offline mobilization strategies, coordinating field campaigns for renewable energy transition and electoral efforts, and analyzing member data to optimize engagement.

Location: Remote-based anywhere in the US, with regular travel within the United States required.

What you will do

  • Lead launch of membership program and execute communications strategy across hirify.global and subbrands for audience engagement.
  • Develop and implement online/offline action opportunities and coordinated organizing plans with field directors for events, canvasses, and mobilizations.
  • Collaborate with political, marketing, data, and communications teams to analyze audiences, test messages, track activities in VAN, and ensure compliance.
  • Write, style, program, and send emails/SMS; build petitions and actions; segment lists and align with brand voice.
  • Create annual/monthly communications calendars tied to events, news, and opportunities; share wins to build member self-efficacy.
  • Analyze effectiveness of messages and actions with data teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in membership engagement, campaigning, organizing, communications, or advocacy, preferably political or renewable energy.
  • Experience building complex programs, cross-department collaboration, and running successful membership mobilization.
  • Strong writing skills, adapting tone for audiences; experience with email/SMS tools (Engaging Networks, Twilio, MobileCommons).
  • Competency in CRMs (Salesforce) and digital tools (VAN, Thrutext, Mobilize).
  • Analytical skills, prioritization, independent work; awareness of renewable energy economics.
  • Self-starter, team player, flexible for fast-paced environment and other duties.
