Staff Infrastructure Engineer

What you will do

• Lead infrastructure projects across reliability, developer experience, and cloud platform, providing technical direction and managing stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering leaders to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Architect and deliver scalable infrastructure systems, deciding on build-vs-buy, tech selection, and migrations.
• Define and evolve infrastructure-as-code strategy with Terraform, governance, and rollout patterns; drive adoption.
• Lead reliability improvements, SLI/SLO definition, observability architectures, and incident response.
• Shape developer platform with self-service tooling, CI/CD, and deployment automation; build AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years hands-on infrastructure engineering in production, 2+ years at senior/staff level leading projects and architecture decisions
• Deep AWS experience (EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, VPC, etc.); Kubernetes and container platforms at scale
• IaC strategy with Terraform; CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred); observability (metrics, logs, traces)
• Networking knowledge; proficiency in Java, Python, or TypeScript
• Strong technical communication, leadership, and engineering rigor

• GCP experience
• Datadog experience
