What you will do

• Lead end-to-end testing between hardware, cloud databases, and applications.
• Create and maintain test plans, automated/manual test cases, and execute verification tests.
• Triage defects, perform impact analysis, recommend solutions, and run regression tests.
• Develop and maintain automation framework using Pytest and hardware fixtures.
• Produce documentation including test plans, protocols, and reports.
• Design and test software tools for development and manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with firmware team on implementation details.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in software testing for embedded systems.
• Python for hardware-control libraries and automated tests.
• C/C++, ARM CPUs, Embedded Linux.
• Basic lab equipment, electronics, firmware design knowledge.
• IDEs like MPLab, Segger Embedded Studio, VS Code.
• Linux, Windows, Mac OS experience.
• Wireless protocols: Cellular, BLE, WiFi.
• Git, Jira, Agile/Scrum processes.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
