What you will do
- Develop and execute PR strategies aligned with growth marketing, product launches, and online sales.
- Build relationships with journalists, editors, and publications in e-commerce, retail, and tech sectors.
- Lead influencer and KOL engagements to amplify brand awareness and campaigns.
- Monitor media, manage reputation, and handle crisis communications.
- Partner on digital PR, content strategies, and SEO visibility.
- Track performance with analytics and report on PR impact and optimizations.
- Pursue partnerships and position the agency in e-commerce communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven PR experience, preferably in e-commerce, digital retail, DTC brands, or consumer startups.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce landscape, online consumer behavior, and digital brand storytelling.
- Proven success in securing media placements and managing influencer campaigns.
- Experience in reputation management, crisis communication, PR analytics, and media monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and public speaking skills; thrive in fast-paced environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with early-stage startups or scaling e-commerce brands.
- Building PR strategies from scratch for new brands or market launches.
- Background in consumer brands, retail tech, marketplaces, or DTC companies.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and digital PR strategies.
- Experience as a brand spokesperson or media representative.
