TL;DR

Talent & Communications Coordinator: Help improve talent acquisition processes from sourcing to hiring and build outreach programs for brand awareness and diverse recruitment with an accent on event planning, media materials, and thought leadership. Location: Hybrid in-office/remote work or fully remote work options, free attendance to local marketing events.

What you will do

  • Improve and optimize talent acquisition processes from sourcing to hiring, identifying high-potential talent.
  • Build outreach and engagement programs with leadership, HR, and PR to drive brand awareness and recruit diverse talent.
  • Create and maintain lists for organizations, education, and user groups to build broad relationships for recruitment.
  • Lead event planning and strategies for recruitment-related events like career fairs, speaking engagements, and conferences.
  • Craft media and support materials, provide monitoring, tracking, and reporting for efforts.
  • Engage in thought leadership through speaking, panels, writing articles and blog posts; assist with award entries.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to recruitment processes, tools, and solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with AP Style writing, excellent writing, grammar, and copyediting skills.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and communication skills; solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing; experience building and communicating with diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree in area of practice or related field; positive, enthusiastic, and hard-working attitude.

Nice to have

  • Past experience with media outreach, public relations, and social media programs/platforms.
  • Agency experience or previous public relations positions.
  • Educational background in journalism, communications, or public relations.
