HPLC/LCMS Technician - 2nd Shift - Lincoln, NE

HPLC/LCMS Technician (2nd Shift): Performing analytical analysis of samples using chromatography and mass spectrometry in a nicotine-free laboratory environment with an accent on setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining HPLC and LC-MS/MS systems. Focus on completing daily lab duties including instrument batches, inventory management, solution preparation, and accurate documentation using quantification software.

Location: Onsite in Lincoln, NE. Only considering candidates currently local to Lincoln, NE.

Salary: Starts at $22 per hour, plus 5% shift differential

What you will do

• Set up, operate, evaluate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on HPLC and LC-MS/MS systems
• Complete minimum daily lab duties of 4 instrument batches
• Manage inventory, organize columns, prepare mobile phases and solutions
• Document accurately, create, edit, and troubleshoot run sheets
• Use required quantification software programs proficiently

Requirements

• Non-nicotine/tobacco user (Bona Fide Occupational Qualification due to nicotine-free lab environment)
• Previous coursework in chemistry or related field; degree preferred
• Experience in mass spectrometry preferred
• Working knowledge of GLP
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong mechanical inclination a plus
