Location: London, England, United Kingdom. Hybrid: 2 days per week in Central London (Soho) office. Candidates must have the existing right to work in the UK.

Salary: £49,000 - £65,000 base pay.

What you will do

• Manage localisation workflow on Smartling, focusing on British English requests.
• Coordinate with translation agencies and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and reference materials.
• Perform QA checks on comms, resources, and UX to ensure high standards.
• Adapt, review, and transcreate content directly in the TMS.
• Test AI-driven workflows to scale operations while maintaining quality.
• Conduct localisation audits of full user journeys to improve experience and metrics.
• Project manage cross-functional international initiatives with remote teams.

Requirements

• British English localisation expert.
• Minimum 5 years in localisation, translation, linguistics, transcreation, content creation, QA, and cultural adaptation.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills for fast-paced hybrid international team.
• Solid understanding of CAT tools, MT, and AI-driven workflows.
• Proven project management in cross-functional environments.
• Experience with requests from Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support, and Partnerships.
