What you will do

• Lead the weekday breakfast programme as the main producer, setting the daily agenda and entertaining morning listeners.
• Develop creative ways to tell complex local stories, collaborating with presenters and the team.
• Drive multiplatform content strategy, reflecting audience needs while maintaining local focus.
• Ensure high editorial standards, impartiality and programme structure aligned with audience habits.
• Motivate and inspire a small team, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Experience in live radio production, working with presenters and multiple stakeholders.
• Proven resilience and ability to work reactively under pressure.
• Experience delivering digital content that enhances radio output.
• Understanding of breakfast show impact, editorial leadership and cross-programme collaboration.
• Ability to lead and inspire a small team in an inclusive environment.
• Identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent per Equality Act (2010) or Disability Discrimination Act (1995) for Northern Ireland.
