Salary: $150,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Build the next generation of the web front-end using Next.js.
• Lead the design and evolution of the foundational ecosystem powering the web platform.
• Drive improvements in performance, reliability, and overall developer experience.
• Improve developer tooling and processes for product-oriented engineering teams.
• Mentor other engineers and guide them on architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop a unified approach to engineering.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing modern web applications.
• Extensive expertise with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Next.js.
• Production experience with industry-standard AI tooling and AI agent workflows.
• Experience with API-driven applications and containerized apps (Kubernetes).
• Strong technical design, architecture, and software engineering best practices.
• Must be based in New York or San Francisco for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with headless CMS (e.g., Contentful, Strapi).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), or tRPC.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and NestJS.
