What you will do

• Define and execute a scalable national model for community engagement and expansion.
• Oversee the national community ecosystem, including Chapters, Outposts, and volunteer engagement.
• Identify and prioritize new markets to increase national reach and member engagement.
• Lead and develop a team of senior leaders to ensure operational alignment and sustainability.
• Partner cross-functionally with Development, Marketing, and Research teams to drive data-informed improvements.

Requirements

• Must reside in the National Capital Region.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit management or community engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record of scaling national programs or multi-market initiatives.
• Ability to travel overnight several times per year for required in-person gatherings.
