TL;DR

Contact Centre Advisor (Telephony): Providing communications support for diabetic eye screening services across the UK and Ireland with an accent on booking appointments, database validation, and high-volume customer interactions. Location: Must have pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Services across UK and Ireland. Rotating shifts: 08:00–16:00 and 10:00–18:00.

What you will do

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls from patients and healthcare professionals to book, cancel, or reschedule diabetic eye screening appointments.
  • Perform database validation, cleansing, and issue timely communications to ensure patients receive notifications.
  • Triage and resolve telephony/communications issues using software logs and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate databases in a high-volume, target-based call environment.
  • Work individually or as part of a delivery team to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence required.
  • Broad telephony/communications background with VOIP experience.
  • Comfortable with software logs, networking concepts, Microsoft Client/Server/Database.
  • Excellent problem analysis, solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • GCSE English to grade C (or equivalent).
  • Team player with "can-do" attitude and initiative.

Nice to have

  • Telephony systems and call centre experience.
  • Database data entry and MS Word/Excel competency.
  • Customer service skills.
