What you will do

• Own installation, commissioning, and validation of new automation equipment including robotics, tooling, and fixtures.
• Develop equipment architecture, integrate automation workflows, software, vision systems, and production parameters.
• Create and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT/SAT) and reports for equipment and processes.
• Provide sustaining support to optimize KPIs like yield, performance, and availability using SPC and data analysis.
• Lead root-cause investigations, risk assessments, and mitigations; manage equipment lifecycle and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and vendors; develop project plans, train teams, and create work instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 7–10 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical data.
• Understanding of automation software/controls (PLC/HMI), machine vision, and recipe management.
• Knowledge of mechanical design for automated systems using Solidworks.
• Excellent documentation for regulated environments (requirements, protocols, reports).
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and self-directed project management.
