TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Security): Support Threat Research and Detection Engineering by developing tools, automation, and internal systems including deployment pipelines, threat intelligence pipelines, and on-demand research labs with an accent on network data processing and adversary emulation. What you will do

• Support Threat Research and Detection Engineering teams with tools and automation to accelerate R&D.
• Develop and maintain internal systems: software deployment pipelines, network identifier ingestion for fingerprinting, threat intelligence acquisition/sharing, on-demand research labs with IaC and cloud tech, continuous testing/validation pipelines.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers, mentor on detector development and network threats, participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software/detection engineering in a team environment.
• Solid Python knowledge; experience developing/deploying enterprise code with focus on quality/maintainability.
• In-depth networking fundamentals: OSI model, Layer 2-7 protocols.
• Self-starter, strong problem-solver, excellent collaborator and communicator.

Nice to have

• Experience with network packet data (tshark, tcpdump, tcprewrite, Scapy).
• Strong TCP/IP and Layer 7 protocols understanding.
