What you will do
- Partner with engineering teams to conduct threat modeling and bake security into new features from the first line of code.
- Build and maintain automated scanning, penetration testing frameworks, and monitoring tools in AWS CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead technical implementation of controls for ISO 27001 and TX-RAMP compliance.
- Own incident response, investigations, and root-cause analysis to prevent future security events.
- Mentor developers through workshops on secure code writing and modern attack vectors.
- Contribute to security roadmap, audits, and architectural reviews to reduce security debt.
Requirements
- 5+ years in security engineering or software development with security focus
- Proven track record securing AWS environments (IAM, Network Security, Infrastructure-as-Code) at scale
- Code proficiency in C#, Python, or similar; ability to suggest secure code alternatives
- Experience with SAST/DAST, vulnerability management, and automation scripting
- Pragmatic implementation of controls in regulated environments
Nice to have
- Experience securing video streaming architectures or high-scale backend services
- History of leading incident response in remote-first environments
- Deep expertise in OWASP Top 10 and secure API design
