Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 + bonus + benefits

What you will do

• Own architecture, development, and operation of scalable, secure, fault-tolerant cloud services with accountability for production performance and reliability.
• Drive technical design and architectural decisions for distributed systems, influencing patterns, standards, and platform evolution.
• Lead complex initiatives from design through deployment and optimization, aligning with business priorities.
• Build and scale cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes to improve resilience and efficiency.
• Advance cloud security, compliance, IAM, and encryption practices across the platform.
• Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and DevOps maturity with optimized CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to resolve system-level challenges.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and evaluate new technologies for performance and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8+ years of software engineering with focus on cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar for building distributed services.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, IAM).
• Experience owning production systems, including on-call, incident response, and reliability improvements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Expertise in cloud security, identity, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with high-availability systems, automated failover, and self-healing.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Event-driven architectures, microservices, and HashiCorp tools (Vault, Consul, Packer).
• Defining engineering standards, patterns, or platform strategy.
