What you will do

• Author two twice-weekly hirify.global newsletters with potential to increase cadence, featuring key insights and scoops for hyper-local audience.
• Command local market knowledge and sourcing to inform busy readers about their community.
• Help build hirify.global Local and shape product evolution.
• Create stories across newsletter, web, and social media platforms.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience covering news and deep understanding of Maricopa County.
• Excellent sources and ability to develop new ones.
• Strong reporting skills, comfort working independently on deadline.
• Ability to decipher data, break news, and create conceptual scoops.
• Background in local and national news coverage; dedication to Smart Brevity writing.
• AI literacy to enhance productivity using AI tools.
