What you will do

• Co-author daily and twice-weekly hirify.global newsletters with insights and scoops for Cincinnati and northern suburbs
• Cover diverse aspects of city life, events, and local folkways
• Experiment with and leverage AI for reporting and newsletter production
• Write conversationally in hirify.global' Smart Brevity style
• Build hirify.global Local by shaping product evolution and owning community conversations

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Experience covering Cincinnati and/or northern suburbs
• Excellent sources with desire to build more
• Ability to break news and create conceptual scoops
• Omnivorous curiosity, ideas, and comfort with voice/personality in writing
• Proven experience in fast-paced news environment and on deadline
