Physician - Virtual Primary Care (Weekend/Bridge)

Physician (Virtual Primary Care): Deliver high-quality, patient-centered virtual primary care to patients across the United States with an accent on comprehensive assessments, chronic condition management, and preventive wellness. Focus on conducting video, chat, and phone visits, prescribing treatments, ordering diagnostics, and collaborating with NPs using AI-powered EMR technology.

Location: 100% remote (US) – active licenses required in at least CA, TX, FL plus 5 additional states; eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) strongly preferred; willingness to obtain more licenses as needed

Compensation: $245,000/yr

What you will do

• Conduct virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment plans for diverse patients
• Manage chronic conditions, provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education
• Order and interpret diagnostics, prescribe medications per regulations, handle referrals and authorizations
• Document in EMR, manage scheduling/follow-ups, complete compliance and administrative tasks
• Meet performance standards for patient satisfaction, quality, productivity, and response times
• Serve as collaborating physician for NPs: oversight, chart reviews, consultations, mentorship

Requirements

• MD or DO from accredited school; current unrestricted license and active board certification (Family Medicine preferred)
• At least 5 years post-residency clinical experience; telehealth strongly preferred
• Active licenses in CA, TX, FL + 5 more states; willingness to obtain additional licenses
• Availability for weekends/holidays; ability to work independently in high-volume remote setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization; comfort with telehealth/EMR/AI tools
• Reliable high-speed internet; understanding of physician-NP collaboration regulations
