Location: Remote - US

Salary: $127,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

  • Perform application security assessments across software products, cloud services, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Contribute to threat models by identifying risks, mitigations, and residual risk.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage penetration testing, including scope, execution, results analysis, and remediation tracking.
  • Partner with IT, engineering, Product Security, quality, and regulatory stakeholders to validate findings and implement mitigations.
  • Prepare cybersecurity documentation for regulatory submissions, including FDA 510(k) filings.
  • Improve application security processes, standards, documentation, and responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on application security, penetration testing, infrastructure security, or product security.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity activities in regulated environments such as medical devices or healthcare technology.
  • Demonstrated experience with NIST cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
  • Experience contributing to FDA regulatory submissions, including 510(k) documentation, from a cybersecurity perspective.
  • Strong application security testing, vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, secure software development, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
