What you will do

• Perform application security assessments on software products, cloud services, and infrastructure.
• Provide input to threat models, identifying risks, mitigations, and residual risk.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage penetration testing, including scoping, execution, and remediation tracking.
• Review and interpret penetration test and vulnerability assessment results.
• Partner with IT, engineering, and product security teams to validate findings and track remediation.
• Support cybersecurity documentation for FDA 510(k) filings and NIST compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity focused on application security, penetration testing, infrastructure, or product security.
• Experience in regulated environments like medical devices or healthcare technology.
• Demonstrated experience with NIST cybersecurity standards and FDA 510(k) submissions.
• Strong application security testing, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing skills.
• Knowledge of secure software development and threat modeling methodologies.
