What you will do
- Develop relationships with vendors and act as liaison with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Payer Relations, and IT.
- Monitor vendor performance through KPIs, data analysis, and SLA adherence.
- Handle escalations, arbitration, risk identification, and propose interventions.
- Onboard and integrate new vendors, participate in selection, and provide feedback during contracting.
- Maintain operational metrics, invoicing, budgeting, and communicate expectations to vendors.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Front End (Patient Access) and/or Back End (Billing and Collections).
- Strong analytical skills for monitoring financial and operational performance.
- Ability to resolve disputes, assess proposals, and communicate effectively.
- Strong relationship and interpersonal skills across contract lifecycle.
- Attention to detail, time management, HIPAA compliance, and consistent availability.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare-related field.
- 2-3 years in healthcare vendor management.
- Experience driving results, onboarding vendors, and healthcare industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of performance metrics for assessments and negotiations.
