TL;DR

Location: Hybrid - San Diego (office Tuesday-Thursday required)

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000

What you will do

  • Manage talent acquisition, hiring, screening, interviewing, and offers.
  • Oversee performance reviews, feedback, and support for team members.
  • Cultivate positive team culture, employee engagement, and conflict resolution.
  • Train and onboard new hires for efficient ramp-up.
  • Lead team projects: scope, timeline, delegate, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate updates.
  • Manage pipeline, workload, policies, procedures, and data-driven insights for leadership.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in loan processing or closing
  • Ability to work in San Diego office Tuesday-Thursday
  • Expertise in Right of Rescission (RTC) requirements, timing, compliance, and funding impacts.
  • Knowledge of title exceptions, liens, judgments, payoffs, and driving resolutions.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams, managing projects, writing policies, performance, conflict, feedback, and change management.
  • Demonstrated leadership: constructive conversations, deadlines, proactive communication, data-driven decisions.

Nice to have

  • Experience with HEIs (Home Equity Investments).
  • Desire to work in fast-paced early-stage startup.
  • Adaptability and team-oriented mindset.
