What you will do

• Deploy and manage CSPM tools to detect and remediate misconfigurations in AWS and GCP.
• Integrate CNAPP strategies with container image scanning in Jenkins and GitLab pipelines.
• Tune CWPP tools for runtime monitoring and anomaly detection in VMs and Kubernetes pods.
• Build automated response playbooks to enrich alerts, isolate resources, and reduce noise.
• Manage IAM policies, secret management, and Just-In-Time access across multi-cloud.
• Collaborate on release compliance, vulnerability scanning, and customer CVE inquiries.

Requirements

• US citizen required for federal compliance.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and GCP architecture, IAM, networking, and identity management.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for security automation and auto-remediation.
• Experience with secure Terraform modules and IaC for security defaults.
• CI/CD security components like SAST, SBOM, and container scanning.
• Securing managed/unmanaged containers (EKS, GKE) with runtime defenses.
• Pragmatic risk prioritization in a lean team environment.

Nice to have

• Event-driven automation with AWS Step Functions or Google Cloud Workflows.
• Tuning security agents for performance in high-traffic environments.
• Linux security primitives like AppArmor, SELinux, and kernel capabilities.
