Sustainability Intern (Impact)

TL;DR

Sustainability Intern (Sustainability/Impact): Supporting annual sustainability reporting and B Corp recertification with an accent on data collection and impact measurement. Focus on coordinating audit preparations, tracking KPIs, and researching emerging sustainability standards.

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Must be living in the Netherlands and enrolled in a school for the duration of the internship

Salary: €550 per month

What you will do

• Support the annual sustainability reporting cycle by collecting data, organizing documentation, and preparing for the PwC audit.
• Assist in the B Corp recertification process by writing policies and aligning internal processes with B Corp requirements.
• Maintain and update internal sustainability dashboards and KPI tracking systems.
• Conduct research on emerging sustainability standards, regulatory frameworks, and industry benchmarks.
• Contribute to specialized projects involving due diligence, emissions, climate topics, and human rights.
• Refine internal templates and tools to strengthen the annual reporting process.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Sustainable Business/Development, Environmental Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
• Must be residing in the Netherlands and currently enrolled in an educational institution.
• Strong alignment with company core values: outspoken, entrepreneurial, and committed to the mission of ending cocoa exploitation.
• Ability to challenge ambitions and learn from mistakes in a fast-paced environment.
