TL;DR

Director, BI & Marketing Analytics (Marketing Analytics): Leading central BI and marketing analytics to drive sustainable growth through data-driven solutions and strategic insights with an accent on customer lifecycle and ROI measurement. Focus on implementing causal inference methodologies, incrementality testing, and optimizing the marketing funnel for user acquisition and retention.

Location: Hybrid (Berlin, Germany). Must be based in or be able to relocate to Berlin

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive BI & Marketing Analytics strategy aligned with global marketing goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 20 BI and marketing analysts to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive strategic projects focusing on ROI, advanced customer segmentation, and CLV optimization.
  • Analyze marketing funnel performance (acquisition and retention) to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Design and implement advanced analytical techniques, including causal inference and incrementality testing.
  • Establish KPI frameworks and visualization reports to measure the ROI of marketing spend.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in BI and marketing analytics for consumer-facing tech companies.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading teams of analysts.
  • Hands-on expertise in causal inference methodologies and incrementality testing.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling, including MMM, attribution, and segmentation.
  • Experience leading large-scale BI initiatives with a focus on data excellence and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels such as paid search, social media, and content marketing.
