What you will do

• Drive architectural vision and strategy to deliver new enterprise functionality for SaaS customers.
• Identify and implement strategic technical improvements to the codebase and architecture.
• Orchestrate and lead major technical projects across multiple teams.
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on sound engineering practices and scalable systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define the functionality and UX of new features.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and evolving complex distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript) for building scalable backend services and APIs.
• Experience building full-stack apps, specifically with React and CSS.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases, including performance optimization under load.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Must be based in Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of authentication protocols: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with DevOps culture and Terraform.
• Knowledge of security engineering and application security.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
