Public Relations Intern

TL;DR

Public Relations Intern (PR/Marketing): Assisting with media tracking, sample coordination, and influencer relations to drive brand recognition with an accent on media monitoring and coverage reporting. Focus on managing product mailers, updating client status grids, and identifying competitor press coverage.

Location: Must be based in New York City (Hybrid: 2 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Coordinate sample sends and organize the beauty closet for product mailers.
• Perform media tracking and clipping while updating client coverage books.
• Monitor press and social media coverage for clients and track competitor activity.
• Maintain and update media and influencer lists.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, PA’s, and SMA’s.
• Keep client status grids up to date.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student enrolled in a course for college credit.
• Must be able to work from the NYC office 2 days per week.
• Previous internship or professional experience in PR or influencer relations.
• Strong writing skills with a sound understanding of AP Style and GSP.
• Extreme attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Understanding of media relations and the PR industry.
