What you will do
- Manage the RMF lifecycle for DHRA information systems in accordance with NIST and DoD standards.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate the work of RMF analysts, assessors, and documentation specialists.
- Develop and maintain key RMF artifacts including SSPs, SAPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
- Interface with Authorizing Officials (AOs), ISSMs, and ISSOs to coordinate authorization packages.
- Track ATO timelines, renewal cycles, and the overall compliance posture across the enterprise.
- Advise technical leadership on RMF requirements and security impacts of system changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management or RMF execution in DoD or Federal environments.
- Active US Government issued Security Clearance and US Citizenship are required.
- Current certification in one of the following: CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, or GSLC.
- Proven experience leading A&A or ISSM/ISSO teams through system authorization cycles.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field.
- ITIL v4 or equivalent process management certification.
- Familiarity with eMASS, ACAS, STIG Viewer, and other DoD assessment tools.
- Ability to lead security authorization efforts across hybrid and cloud environments.
