Information Assurance Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation in accordance with DoD and NIST standards.
• Maintain current Authorization to Operate (ATO) and manage the system’s Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
• Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and verified risk assessments for key stakeholders.
• Utilize cybersecurity tools including ACAS, STIG, Trellix ePO, and Elasticsearch for operational verification.
• Develop critical security policies and plans, including Incident Response, Disaster Recovery, and Continuity of Operations.
• Evaluate NIST 800-53 controls for applicability and prepare documents for Control Validation Tests (CVTs).

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE).
• At least 2 years of cybersecurity experience and 4 years of general full-time work experience.
• High level of understanding regarding computer systems, operating systems, and network architecture.
• Experience with Configuration Management processes and workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with eMASS and the Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM).
• Experience conducting system and log auditing.
• Experience with endpoint security enforcement, validation, and vulnerability management.
