What you will do

• Perform fire protection engineering services such as life safety code consulting, sprinkler design, and fire alarm design.
• Develop technical plans, specifications, and inspection reports in accordance with professional service practice standards.
• Conduct field investigations, detailed design work, and verify design computations to resolve safety problems.
• Analyze building codes, egress, fire detection, and smoke control systems.
• Apply engineering calculations for water supplies, maximum allowable building areas, and smoke control equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and communicate technical findings to clients and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience in a related engineering field.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for technical reporting and presentations.
• Ability to work from the Concord, CA office location.
