What you will do

• Design and implement security governance, risk, and compliance roadmaps from first principles to production.
• Identify and address key security risks pragmatically.
• Adopt hirify.global’s programs and controls where applicable, customizing as needed.
• Lead global risk assessments, control design, and testing for Security and Technology Oversight.
• Reinforce secure development and infrastructure best practices in engineering.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness as scaling to regulated markets.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and hirify.global security teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Security GRC, ideally building practices in fast-paced startups
• Proficiency with NIST CSF, OCC Cybersecurity Supervision, FFIEC IT Examination Handbook, or similar frameworks
• Proven experience with global regulatory audits across security domains
• Startup mindset: scrappy, pragmatic, thrives in ambiguity, ruthless prioritization
• Balance security rigor with speed in fast-moving environments
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience building or scaling security programs
• Curiosity about crypto and stablecoins
