What you will do
- Define and own the global brand voice for both B2C (students) and B2B (brand partners) across all touchpoints.
- Lead unconventional, high-impact brand activations and guerrilla marketing efforts to increase brand visibility.
- Design the marketing organization by orchestrating a distributed network of internal staff, contractors, and PR partners.
- Partner with the Sales team to translate student engagement data into compelling revenue stories for partners.
- Build and scale a student Ambassador strategy to drive organic acquisition and long-term loyalty.
Requirements
- Deep, nuanced understanding of US culture to effectively resonate with US college students.
- Proven ability to build systems and playbooks within a high-growth, "messy" startup environment.
- AI fluency: must use LLMs heavily in daily workflows to act as a force multiplier.
- Ability to switch seamlessly between Gen Z cultural nuances and B2B ROI discussions.
- High agency leadership style with a willingness to jump into tactical execution when needed.
Nice to have
- Background in B2B SaaS, EdTech, or AdTech/MarTech.
- Experience building Discord communities or campus ambassador programs.
- Track record of growing revenue in a bootstrapped environment without massive budgets.
- Experience managing remote, distributed teams of employees and contractors.
