What you will do

  • Define and own the global brand voice for both B2C (students) and B2B (brand partners) across all touchpoints.
  • Lead unconventional, high-impact brand activations and guerrilla marketing efforts to increase brand visibility.
  • Design the marketing organization by orchestrating a distributed network of internal staff, contractors, and PR partners.
  • Partner with the Sales team to translate student engagement data into compelling revenue stories for partners.
  • Build and scale a student Ambassador strategy to drive organic acquisition and long-term loyalty.

Requirements

  • Deep, nuanced understanding of US culture to effectively resonate with US college students.
  • Proven ability to build systems and playbooks within a high-growth, "messy" startup environment.
  • AI fluency: must use LLMs heavily in daily workflows to act as a force multiplier.
  • Ability to switch seamlessly between Gen Z cultural nuances and B2B ROI discussions.
  • High agency leadership style with a willingness to jump into tactical execution when needed.

Nice to have

  • Background in B2B SaaS, EdTech, or AdTech/MarTech.
  • Experience building Discord communities or campus ambassador programs.
  • Track record of growing revenue in a bootstrapped environment without massive budgets.
  • Experience managing remote, distributed teams of employees and contractors.
