Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: US Fully Remote; NYC Hybrid Available

Compensation: $181,500–$203,500 USD (OTE, includes base $165,000–$185,000 + up to 10% bonus)

What you will do

• Plan and refine solutions via RFCs and Tech Specs in collaboration with product and engineering teams
• Drive projects through the full SDLC from spec to production
• Share knowledge through code reviews, pair programming, 1-1s, and team trainings
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support
• Develop expertise in Beam's tech stack and domain
• Foster team culture around values like community, inclusivity, and accountability

Requirements

• 4+ years building production systems for complex web applications
• Proficient in JavaScript frameworks like React, NextJS
• Proficient in web architecture, API design, and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Familiar with observability, performance optimization, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud infrastructure
• Strong communication to explain technical projects to non-technical stakeholders
