What you will do

• Design and implement the Libraries Platform, including services, pipelines, and package indexes for various ecosystems (Java, JS, Python).
• Automate artifact creation, vulnerability scanning, remediation workflows, and SBOM/provenance generation.
• Build and operate shared platform services such as registry mirrors, metadata services, and orchestration tooling.
• Develop internal developer tools and CLIs in Go to improve build, test, and shipping processes at scale.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and observability by defining SLOs, monitoring, and leading incident response.
• Collaborate with ecosystem, platform, and security teams to ensure reliability and product requirements are met.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Strong background in CI/CD, containers (Docker/OCI, Kubernetes), and public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and GitHub Actions, Argo, or Tekton.
• Ability to manage SRE and platform responsibilities, including performance tuning and observability.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Open source contributions to ecosystem tooling, libraries, or packaging.
• Experience with software supply chain security (SLSA, SBOMs, sigstore).
• Knowledge of Linux distributions and reproducible build systems (Alpine, Wolfi, Bazel).
• Familiarity with AI/ML packaging and deploying Python libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow) in Kubernetes.
