What you will do

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general accounting records.
• Support compliance with the Circular Única de Bancos (CUB) and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Oversee account reconciliations and prepare information for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives related to automation and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial or regulatory accounting within banks.
• Location: Must be based in Mexico.
• English: Intermediate–advanced proficiency for reporting and internal communication.
• Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with financial analysis tools.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NIF and CNBV regulations.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Familiarity with loan portfolio or treasury accounting.
• Interest in automation and digital tool implementation for accounting processes.
