Sr. Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Greater Seattle Area, Washington, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Salary: $197,529–$276,539.55 annually for Washington applicants; other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Design and develop complex software systems and infrastructure using .NET, Java, or Python.
• Architect, build, and deploy Agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, and LLM-powered workflows.
• Implement AI agent architectures that reason over business data and take action with human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Build inventory lifecycle systems and production planning solutions that provide real-time material visibility and help prevent shortages.
• Develop web interfaces with Angular or React and integrate commercial products through REST services, AI/ML APIs, and message queues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and troubleshoot software across deployment, server-side, and client-side environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience writing production code in Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience leading system design and architecture for new and existing systems.
• Experience with cloud architectures, application deployment, and containerized workloads, preferably AWS.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or qualifying lawful U.S. admission required for export-control compliance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• 12+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Production experience with Agentic AI, multi-agent architectures, autonomous workflows, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, fine-tuning, or agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with scalable relational and non-relational data platforms and AI/ML in enterprise or ERP domains.
• Experience with inventory management, production planning, or demand-driven material planning in manufacturing or aerospace.
