TL;DR

Loan Servicing Specialist (Rural Banking): Supporting back-office loan transactions for Rural Business Direct Lending and Input Finance portfolios with an accent on funding, booking, loan maintenance, payments, cash management, and quality control. Focus on executing daily reviews and updates in core systems like AFS, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and maintaining client relationships.

Location: Hybrid in Chesterfield, US (typically 2 days remote, remaining days onsite; must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no sponsorship available).

Salary: $26.00 - $31.00/hour

What you will do

  • Review and execute new loan funding, wire transfers, advances, and booking of new, renewal, and modified loans in AFS system.
  • Complete setup of new or modified loan data in core systems.
  • Perform daily updates to client information, loan data, payoffs, research, pricing, and rates in AFS.
  • Handle inbound calls and emails from clients regarding account details, changes, and cash management.
  • Review, research, and post payments accurately from various channels.
  • Balance core systems and banking accounts for cash management and validate fund accounting.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of new and modified loans against signed documents.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, College Degree, or equivalent work experience; preferred Associate’s in Accounting/Finance/Business (2-5 years exp.) or Bachelor’s (0-2 years).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret loan documents, system data, and regulations.
  • Strong mathematical skills for discounts, interest, amortizations, and percentages.
  • Problem-solving in situations with limited standards and interpreting varied instructions.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship.
