What you will do

• Define and maintain end-to-end construction site solution requirements, interfaces, and constraints to support reuse across industries.
• Collaborate with machine (onboard/embedded) and office software teams to deliver integrated solutions and ensure consistent data flows.
• Partner with delivery team architects to shape solution architecture and define interface contracts.
• Lead architecture activities within NPI programs, including requirements traceability, verification planning, and technical reviews.
• Develop systems engineering artifacts and ensure they evolve alongside the products.
• Drive cross-team integration planning and represent construction jobsite needs in enterprise architectural governance forums.

Requirements

• Proven experience in systems engineering, managing requirements and solution architecture across complex, multi-team environments.
• Applied domain knowledge of construction operations, including jobsite safety, mixed-fleet environments, and construction workflows.
• Extensive experience resolving complex cross-team integration problems and applying engineering judgment with incomplete data.
• Hands-on experience with systems engineering and architecture tooling for requirements management and interface control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering surface mining site technology solutions or closely related domains.
• Experience with NPI programs, specifically architecture validation and gate execution.
• Experience defining shared data models and interface contracts between embedded and office software.
