Salary: $75.00 - $103.00 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and execute system safety programs based on Mil-Std-882 standards.
• Perform Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Requirements Hazard Analysis.
• Conduct Subsystem and System Hazard Analysis.
• Execute Operating, Support, and Functional Hazard Analyses.
• Manage and maintain detailed hazard tracking systems.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering.
• Proven expertise in System Safety Engineering, Software/Firmware Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with DoD System Safety Programs, specifically MIL-STD-882.
• Experience implementing system and software safety within Agile Development environments.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and proposal development.
• Master's degree in STEM with at least 6 years of experience.
