What you will do

  • Manage journal pipelines by processing manuscripts from submission through to final decision.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for authors to ensure satisfaction and adherence to editorial policies.
  • Coordinate communication and handle correspondence between authors, reviewers, and editors.
  • Collaborate with editorial staff to implement process improvements and new initiatives.
  • Mentor and support new team members during their onboarding.
  • Provide input on optimizing workflows to reduce turnaround time (TAT) within the editorial process.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and meet strict daily deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Must be based in or able to work in London under a hybrid model.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
