TL;DR

Junior Software Engineer (Fullstack/Ecommerce): Developing and iterating on next-generation ecommerce features and services with an accent on AI-driven personalization and scalability. Focus on building broad knowledge across systems, software, and data science to optimize production systems for billions of transactions.

Location: Hybrid (minimum 4 days per week in office). Offices located in New York, Seattle, Sydney, Tokyo, and London.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

What you will do

  • Develop and iterate on next-generation ecommerce features and services using computer science fundamentals and AI tooling.
  • Utilize AI tools and automation to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment cycles.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from prototyping and implementation to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement AI-driven solutions.
  • Optimize system performance and algorithms to scale the platform for billions of transactions.
  • Build internal tools and production systems across various domains and teams.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals.
  • Passion for AI development and ability to learn new tools and workflows rapidly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using first principles and creativity.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and take ownership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Must be based in or able to work from offices in New York, Seattle, Sydney, Tokyo, or London.
