What you will do

• Drive development of headless Shopify storefront using Hydrogen, delivering features across client and server-rendered routes
• Build and maintain custom storefront components, templates, and utilities optimized for conversion, speed, and scalability
• Integrate Shopify Storefront API, Admin API, and third-party services like CMS, search, reviews, subscriptions, and personalization
• Implement server-side integration logic, commerce workflows, sessions, middleware, and API orchestration
• Optimize site performance across client, server, and edge, targeting Core Web Vitals, page load times, and Lighthouse scores
• Contribute to deployment pipelines, environment management, technical architecture, accessibility, SEO, and production issue resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years professional fullstack development with React + server-side JavaScript/TypeScript
• 2+ years building headless Shopify storefronts, hands-on with Shopify Hydrogen (2.0 preferred) and Remix
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with Shopify Storefront API, GraphQL, modern build tools (Vite, Remix, Next.js concepts)
• Integrating third-party eCommerce tools (Klaviyo, Yotpo, Contentful/Sanity, Algolia, Recharge)
• Server-side integration logic, DTC eCommerce KPIs, conversion optimization, agile cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Experience with Shopify Oxygen hosting, CMS integrations (Sanity preferred)
• A/B testing, personalization, high-growth/enterprise DTC brands, mentoring juniors
