Salary: €52,000 – €65,000

What you will do

• Design and execute tests for backend systems, including APIs, databases, and service integrations.
• Validate API functionality and performance using tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Test and verify database operations, queries, and data integrity in PostgreSQL systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review pull requests and ensure code quality and test coverage.
• Support the development and maintenance of automated tests for backend services.
• Document and track defects and test cases using TestRail or similar systems.

Requirements

• Approximately 2–3 years of experience in backend testing or software development in test roles.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Understanding of API, database, and integration testing practices.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal.
