TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (Dealer Solutions): Own retention, renewal execution, and expansion of high-value automotive dealer accounts with an accent on upsell growth, multi-solution adoption, and long-term partner alignment. Focus on building executive relationships, developing strategic account plans, and driving measurable ROI through DMS, CRM, Service, and Marketing solutions.

Location: Virtual US (60–75% travel depending on territory)

What you will do

  • Own executive-level relationships with Dealer Principals, GMs, Fixed Ops Directors, BDC Leaders, and OEM reps, positioning hirify.global as strategic partner.
  • Lead renewal strategy, negotiation, risk mitigation, and drive upsell/expansion revenue through whitespace opportunities and multi-solution adoption.
  • Develop annual/quarterly strategic account plans covering business goals, solution adoption, expansion targets, and risk indicators.
  • Drive portfolio growth across DMS (service/parts/accounting/inventory), CRM (lead management/BDC), Service Suite, and Marketing solutions.
  • Collaborate with SPMs and Product SMEs to ensure deep adoption, align performance to outcomes like service throughput and lead conversion.
  • Monitor customer health metrics, manage escalations, and lead cross-functional efforts across Customer Success, Product, Support, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years in automotive SaaS, dealership technology, or automotive retail operations
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic/enterprise accounts with retention and expansion responsibility
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations (fixed/variable ops, CRM, marketing)
  • Proven ability to drive upsell revenue and multi-solution adoption
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, presentation skills
  • Data-driven approach to growth opportunities and customer risk

Nice to have

  • Experience with automotive DMS, CRM, service tools, marketing platforms
  • Prior dealership leadership (BDC, service, sales, digital marketing)
  • Familiarity with OEM standards, compliance, certification programs
  • Structured account planning frameworks and customer health models
