Location: Hybrid (Edinburgh) - Must spend at least two days per week (40%) in the office

What you will do
- Conduct risk assessments on new and existing PEP relationships within Commercial and Corporate Banking divisions.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate risks in alignment with policy and regulatory expectations.
- Analyze customers with potential connections to sanctioned countries or entities.
- Provide detailed recommendations to senior management for risk approval.
- Maintain subject matter expertise on industry developments and financial crime regulations.
- Collaborate with Coverage and Economic Crime Prevention teams to ensure best-in-class risk management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Economic Crime Prevention, Financial Crime, or Compliance roles.
- Experience coordinating and prioritizing workloads to meet strict deadlines and service expectations.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work hybridly from the Edinburgh office.
Nice to have
- Direct experience conducting reviews involving Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
- Proven coaching skills and a track record of supporting personal development.
- Experience in the design and implementation of compliance programs.
- Ability to identify business practice shortcomings and implement improvements.
