What you will do

• Collaborate with business teams to define and document data requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines that clean and transform raw datasets using BigQuery and Dataform.
• Respond to ad hoc data queries to help teams access and interpret business data.
• Implement data validation checks and resolve data quality issues at the source.
• Maintain clear documentation for all pipelines and datasets to ensure knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Must be an internal hirify.global colleague (this is an internal secondment opportunity).
• Strong curiosity and a proactive approach to solving technical problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and patiently with non-technical colleagues.
• Capacity to handle ambiguity and manage multiple tasks across different teams.
• Ownership of work and a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.

Nice to have

• Basic familiarity with SQL.
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience working with spreadsheets or data in a professional context.
