Salary: $90,000 to $105,000 CAD + short-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional system requirements in collaboration with business clients, end users, and stakeholders.
• Perform analysis of new technologies and standards in money movement/bank-to-bank networks and their impacts on Interac solutions.
• Collaborate on planning, designing, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements.
• Conduct requirements coverage and impact analysis through traceability to business requirements, solutions, and test cases.
• Partner with external vendors, internal IT, certification, and testing teams to provide clarity on requirements and specifications.
• Support project management, onboarding, release management, and operations in production issues.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work for hirify.global in Canada in a full-time capacity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5-10 years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst role
• Experience with ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 standards, Payments Canada settlement streams (AFT, LVTS), and Canadian payment systems (POS, ABMs, acquirer/issuer hosts)
• Knowledge of financial services, online/mobile payments, chip/contactless (EMV), UML, BPMN, and requirements elicitation techniques
• Comfortable with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), data analytics (SQL, Power BI), and various delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

• Experience partnering with Payments Canada
• Knowledge of fraud prevention or cybersecurity
