Software Engineer II (Fintech)

Location: Argentina, Remote

Salary: $2,800–$6,000 gross USD per month

What you will do

• Build and maintain innovative product features across a full-stack engineering platform.
• Collaborate with engineers and product feature owners to design, deliver, and improve functionality.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions and contribute to code reviews.
• Build and deploy scalable solutions while supporting project planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Mentor engineers developing their careers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in software development and experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
• Experience with modern frontend development; React experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with Go or a similar compiled, statically typed backend language.
• Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of software engineering tools, development methodologies, and release processes.
