Software Engineer II (Fullstack)

Location: Remote in Argentina

Salary: $2,800–$6,000 USD gross per month

What you will do

• Build and maintain innovative product features across a full-stack engineering environment.
• Design, develop, and deliver scalable features in collaboration with engineers and product feature owners.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions, code reviews, project planning, and estimations.
• Continuously build and deploy scalable solutions with the team.
• Mentor engineers who are beginning their careers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in software development and experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
• Experience with modern frontend development, preferably React.
• Ability to solve backend problems using Go or a similar statically typed compiled language.
• Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic microservice architecture principles.
• Knowledge of software engineering tools, development methodologies, and release processes.

Hiring process

• Wonderlic test lasting approximately 30–40 minutes.
• Coding assessment lasting approximately 1.5 hours, followed by recruiter, engineering, and engineering leadership interviews.
