Senior Software Enginner (Fullstack Node + React)

Location: Remote within LATAM

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve full-stack systems across TypeScript/Node.js microservices and React interfaces.
• Own projects end-to-end, from technical design and decomposition through deployment and production support.
• Develop event handlers, cronjobs, APIs, and user interfaces for core financial flows.
• Use AI coding assistants and agentic tools for scaffolding, refactoring, testing, debugging, and code review while validating generated output.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and collaborate across autonomous product pods.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, post-incident reviews, and technical debt reduction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack experience across backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Production proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and messaging patterns.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and migrations.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, and code review, including prompt and context engineering.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, cloud environments, deployments, logs, and basic infrastructure concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered features such as RAG, agents, tool calling, or prompt pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, GraphQL, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Background in fintech, payments, or financial systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical design discussions.
