TL;DR

Senior Security Engineer (AWS/CDN/WAF): Provide and support content delivery and security platform at edge across multiple domains with an accent on designing, building, testing, and deploying secure scalable applications. Focus on ensuring observability, improving CI/CD automation, and driving technical excellence in cloud engineering practices.

PL-Remote: Full-time remote position for the Poland team. Delivery centers in Wrocław and Gdańsk.

Custom product engineering company supporting multinational organizations and scaling startups with a global team of over 4,000 professionals and delivery centers in Poland.

What you will do

  • Provide and support content delivery and security platform at edge across multiple domains.
  • Take full responsibility for the platform from design to operation, including documentation and security.
  • Develop and run content delivery network and associated platform as part of a team.
  • Enable business development teams to work efficiently using platform expertise.
  • Ensure observability, improve CI/CD and automation maturity.
  • Research, evaluate new approaches, tools, and drive technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Proficient experience with CDN and WAF solutions like Akamai, AWS, Cloudflare (bot detection, DDoS, cache optimization).
  • Deep knowledge of web technologies (RFCs, DNS, protocols, headers, caching, etc.).
  • Advanced experience designing secure, highly available AWS applications (EKS, Lambda, CloudFront, S3, API Gateways).
  • Experience securing APIs (REST, GraphQL) using AWS AppSync.
  • Monitoring with Datadog, Grafana; automation with Python, CI/CD (Gitlab), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, customer-centric mindset.

  • Front-end development experience.
  • Experience with agentic LLMs.
