What you will do

• Design and maintain secure infrastructure services supporting over 30 development teams.
• Operate end-to-end encryption strategies for data at rest, in transit, and service-to-service communication.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security using GitOps principles.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective integration and smooth operations of secure services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure infrastructure availability and rapid incident response.
• Implement and maintain best practices for system security, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of TLS, PKI, and certificate chains.
• Strong knowledge of encryption fundamentals, including symmetric/asymmetric encryption and key rotation.
• Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), specifically EC2, S3, VPC, EKS, ALB/ELB, and Transit Gateway.
• Strong Linux engineering skills, including networking, storage, and operating system fundamentals.
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure through GitOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Nice to have

• Experience working within CMMC and FedRamp compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with Go or Java.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with automated certificate rotation services.
